Travita for Smart Solutions

Practical solutions, built by people who have done the work.

Twenty years of engineering across telecom, IT and humanitarian operations — delivered by specialists, not intermediaries.

Explore our services
Humanitarian operations

Field-tested where conditions are hardest.

Two decades of ICT for emergency response alongside international NGOs and UN agencies, including a Harvard certificate in humanitarian response to conflict and disaster.

Telecom & IT engineering

Networks that stay up when everything else does not.

RF and microwave design, ISP infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity and VoIP — from survey and link budget through to rollout.

Donor-funded delivery

Built to survive an audit.

Donor-funded programme delivery: procurement, bills of materials, supply chain, monitoring and evaluation, and transparent reporting.

Sustainable energy

Power that keeps running when the grid does not.

Solar systems, battery storage and resilient micro-grids — sized from real load data, specified against real supply chains, and built to keep clinics, offices and facilities running through outages.

Eco-travel

Tourism that leaves the place better than it found it.

Sustainable tourism planning, eco-lodge and site feasibility, and responsible travel programmes designed so the revenue reaches the community that hosts them.

Agriculture & food security

Growing food where the conditions say you cannot.

Hydroponics, aquaponics and climate-smart farming — designed for constrained water, limited land and unreliable power, with the training to keep systems producing after handover.

Delivered through our specialist partner network, applying the same method we use in telecom: an independent technical assessment first, a written scope with defined deliverables, then implementation with vetted local partners and a handover that includes training.

Energy. Load profiling and site survey, PV array and battery sizing, hybrid and off-grid micro-grid design, inverter and charge-controller specification, protection and earthing, supply-chain sourcing under constraint, commissioning and O&M training. Designed for places where the grid is unreliable and spare parts are hard to get.

Agriculture. Hydroponic and aquaponic system design, greenhouse and vertical growing layouts, water treatment and recirculation, nutrient and climate control, solar-powered irrigation, plus grower training so the system keeps producing long after handover.

Eco-travel. Destination and site feasibility, eco-lodge and visitor-infrastructure planning, off-grid utilities for remote sites, community-benefit and revenue-sharing models, and responsible-tourism operating standards.

How we engage

Consultation, coaching, remote delivery, or on the ground

Most firms do one of these. We do all four, which means the engagement can start as advice and grow into delivery without changing supplier — and without you re-explaining the problem to a new team.

Consultation

Independent technical advice you can put in front of a board or a donor: feasibility studies, sustainability audits, readiness assessments, technical due diligence and second opinions on designs already on the table.

Coaching & training

Capacity building that outlasts the project. Hands-on training for engineers and end users, SOPs and documentation your team can actually follow, and mentoring so internal staff can run the system without us.

Remote delivery

Design, configuration, monitoring and support delivered remotely — network and cloud engineering, NOC-style monitoring, security hardening and dedicated remote teams. Lower cost, no travel time, work starts immediately.

Field deployment

Boots on the ground where it matters: site survey, installation and commissioning, contractor supervision, snagging and acceptance testing — including sites that are difficult to reach and harder to keep running.

Specialist practice

Digital Public Infrastructure

Identity, payments and data-exchange systems built on open standards.

Our team completed UNDP training in Digital Public Infrastructure, and our advisory work is aligned to the UNDP and ITU frameworks for open, interoperable public-sector platforms. Certificates available on request.

Who we help, and how

Governments & ministriesNational readiness assessment, architecture and standards selection, procurement specification, and phased rollout planning for identity, payments and data-exchange layers.
Governorates & municipalitiesService-delivery digitisation, registry and data-exchange integration between departments, and connectivity design for facilities that have to keep working during outages.
UN agencies & INGOsBeneficiary identity and registration systems, safeguards and data-protection design, interoperability with host-government platforms, and field implementation support.
Operators & private sectorIntegration into national DPI rails, API and interoperability design, security review, and the network and cloud infrastructure underneath it.

DPI Solutions

Design and technical guidance for identity and payments platforms.

Implementation Support

Hands-on support through planning, procurement and rollout.

DPI Consultation

Independent advice on strategy, safeguards and readiness.
